Footballghana.com can report that Ghanaian international Kwesi Appiah is close to making a complete recovery from his injury to ensure he gets to feature for his AFC Wimbledon side.
The ex-Black Stars forward has been sidelined for the last couple of months after he sustained a nasty ankle ligament injury in training.
Since that time, he has not played for his club as he stayed sidelined to receive treatment from the medical team.
Checks have now revealed that the 28-year-old Kwesi Appiah is close to making a full recovery. He has shown promise in rehabilitation and has in line with that been named in AFC Wimbledon’s U-18 team for a Central League Cup Southern Group 4 match at Southend today.
His fitness levels will be monitored today before he will be gradually integrated into the senior team.
