West Ham United record signing Andre Ayew will lead the Ghana team today in their 2017 AFCON quarterfinal clash against Congo today at the Stade d'Oyem.
Ayew, will deputise for injured skipper Asamoah Gyan who is only fit enough for a place on the bench.
He wore the captain's band for Ghana in their final Group D game when Gyan limped off in the first half..
The winner of the game will meet Cameroon in the semi-finals after they truimphed 5-4 on penalties in Franceville on Saturday night against Senegal.
