Deputy captain of the Black Stars Andre Dede Ayew returned to training on Friday ahead of Ghana's clash with Mali on Saturday.
Ayew who scored Ghana's only goal against Uganda in their first game of the tournament, missed training on Thursday due to illness.
The midfielder battled with Malaria and was a doubt for the game against Mali
However, his training on Friday indicates a possible return to the pitch for the Mali game on Saturday 16:00 GMT.
