AFCON 2017: Ghana to play group matches at the newly built 25,000 seater Stade de Port-Gentil

Ghana by virtue of going into Group D of next year's Africa Cup of Nations will be based in the Gabon city of Port Gentil for their group stage games.

The Black Stars and their group opponents, Uganda, Egypt and Mali will use the the newly-constructed Stade de Port-Gentil.

It is a 25,000 seater capacity with natural grass built by the China State Construction Corporation (CSCC).

The facility includes a hotel with 26 rooms, athletics track, 3 tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, handball court and volleyball court.
