AFCON 2017: Massive boost for Ghana as Asamoah Gyan will be fit for tournament

Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan will be fit for next January's Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

The 30-year old who picked up a knock whiles playing for his club side Al Ahli in the UAE league on Saturday  is expected to be out for 21 days.

A test on his injury revealed, Gyan will recuperate in 15 days but will be fully fit after 21 days.

What this means is that, the Ghana top scorer will recover in time for next year's Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted in Gabon.

Gyan since joining Al Ahli on loan from Chinese side Shangai SIPG has been on blistering form scoring week in week out.
