AFCON 2019: Eric Alagidede implores Kwesi Appiah to Include Diawisie Taylor in Black Stars squad

Communications Director for Karela United, Eric Alagidede has urged Black Stars head coach James Kwesi Appiah to include in form striker Diawisie Taylor in his squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The player without a doubt has been the most consistent player since the start of the Normalization Committee (NC) Special Competition. He goal scoring prowess is unmatched across both divisions where he has netted 8 times for the Anyinase based club.

His devastating form has seen his score a brace in each of the last 3 matches he has played in the competition. First he scored a brace against Inter Allies before following up to do same against Liberty Professionals.

Just yesterday, the attacker scored twice at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park to give his side an important victory to keep the pressure on Premier A leaders Accra Hearts of Oak.

Speaking in an interview with Ashh FM, Eric Alagidede pointed out that Diawisie Taylor is currently thee best striker in the country and Kwesi Appiah should hand him a call up.

“Currently Diawisie Taylor is the best striker in the Country and he is in the best team. There have been a lot of offers for Diawisie Taylor but we have taken our time to get the best offer for him”, he said.

He continued, “I think Coach Akwasi Appiah should invite Diawisie Taylor into the Senior National team to give the player exposure because he is an exceptional player”.
