Black Meteors of Ghana head coach Ibrahim Tanko has called-up 24 local players to prepare ahead of the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualifier against Gabon.
Ghana will welcome Gabon to the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg of the qualification round in March as they eye qualification to 2019 All Africa games to be held in Morocco.
The FA official statement reads "Twenty-four players have been handed call ups to the National U23 (Black Meteors) camp as the team prepares for the 2019 U-23 African Cup of Nations against Gabon on 23rd and 26th, March 2019 respectively."
The players are expected to report at the M-Plaza Hotel at 4:00pm on Wednesday, February 27.
The technical team will announce the second batch of players to join the team before the final squad for the qualifier are selected.
