Atsu has been trapped under debris for nine days, following a catastrophic earthquake in Turkey that occurred on Monday, February 6, 2023.

After receiving news that his client was among the Hatayspor players affected by the calamity, Nana Sechere travelled to Turkey in the last few days to help in efforts to relocate the player.

Previously, reports indicated that the player had been discovered and promptly taken to the hospital; however, it was a situation of confusion in identity.

Now Sechere is calling for the translator to help them understand what is going on with the search efforts.

"This is a difficult situation and we are extremely grateful to all the Turkish and foreign rescue teams, local civilians and volunteers for their efforts and response in rescuing survivors," he said in a statement.

"However, we urgently need more resources, including a translator, on the ground," he added.
