Agyemang Badu continues recovery as he trains alone

Experienced Ghanaian international Agyemang Badu has continued training this week as he looks to gain fitness to ensure he gets back onto the pitch after the winter break.

The Black Stars midfielder has been out of action since August when he was hospitalized in Italy with blood clots in his lungs.

Following several checks, doctors concluded that he has suffered a pulmonary microembolism and will need to sit on the sidelines to fully recover before joining his Hellas Verona teammates.

He was subsequently placed under observations while receiving treatment in the process.

Months later, Agyemang Badu is back but is training alone before he will be gradually introduced into the first team training drills.

In a post on his Instagram page, the 28-year-old has shared that he is ‘focused’ as he looks to bounce back from the illness stronger and better.
