The sister of Chievo Verona star Emmanuel Agyemang Badu was shot dead on Wednesday morning by a gun man in the suburb of Berekum in the Bono region.
The suspect identified was Kwabena Yeboah alias Kobii who reportedly shot the lady for unknown reasons to the police and the family of Agyemang Badu.
According to reports, the suspect who is in his 40s made a run for his life immediately after committing the crime and is believed to have crossed the border to Ivory Coast or at a hideout nearby.
The unwelcoming news comes to the on-loan Hellas Verona midfielder who is currently being quarantined in Italy, due to the global pandemic coronavirus which has affected many in the country and claimed over 3,000 lives.
