Akakpo Patron takes charge of Asante Kotoko after Paa Kwesi Fabin’s departure

Assistant coach of Asante Kotoko, Akakpo Patron will take charge over the club temporarily following the departure of head Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin.

The former Black Starlets gaffer resigned from his duties as Kotoko coach on last week Thursday with claims indicating he is on his way to an unknown South African Club.

However, the Porcupine Warriors on Monday accepted the resignation letter of the Coach on the condition that he pays off the club for failing to see out his contract.

The Reds have hence tasked his deputy Akakpo Patron to manage the Club until a substantive head Coach is appointed.

Patron will supervise the team for the upcoming Golden clash match against Ashanti Gold.

Former Hearts of Oak Coaches Frank Nutall and CK Akunnor as well as Brazilian trainer Ricardo Da Rocha have all been linked to the vacant position at Kotoko.
