Albert Adomah scores, provides assist as Aston Villa increase Burton Albion woes

Black Stars winger, Albert Adomah continued his impressive form for Aston Villa by getting on the scoresheet and providing an assist as they defeated Burton Albion 3-2 at the Villa Park on Saturday.

Steve Bruce side broke the deadlock on the 33rd minute through Scott Hogan after latching onto Albert Adomah's through ball.

The former Middlesbrough winger registered his name on the score sheet in the 65th minute from close range.

The visitors were handed a lifeline in the 78th minute when Egyptian international, Ahmed Elmohammady put the ball at the back of his own net to reduce the deficit.

But Jack Grealish restored Villa's cushioning with a 88th minute strike before Liam Boyce pulled a goal back for the visitors in the 92nd minute as the match ended 3-2 in Aston Villa's favour.

Adomah lasted 68 minutes of the game.

Aston Villa moves to 3rd on the log with 56 points after 30 games.
