The Vice-Chairman of the Black Satellites Management Committee, Albert Commey has charged the Black Satellites team to pick up a win against Nigeria in the WAFU Zone B U-20 championship.

The Ghana U-20 team will face off with their counterparts from Nigeria on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, for a clash in Group B of this year’s WAFU championship.

Ahead of the game, Albert Commey has urged the team to strive for a win at all cost to have a better chance of progressing to the knockout phase of the competition.

“Play the game already in your mind even before tomorrow comes. You need total concentration and therefore must eschew things that can potentially affect your concentration,” Albert Commey told the players as quoted on the website of the GFA.

The Vice-Chairman of the Black Satellites Management Committee continued, “Tomorrow, no matter what, Nigeria must fall. When the Satellites do well, it reflects on the future of the Black Stars. So, if you want to be counted among the standouts, it all starts from tomorrow [against Nigeria]. The first match is very important. Let’s take all three points.”

The tough encounter between Ghana and Nigeria will kick-off at 16:00GMT tomorrow.
