Alfred Duncan: ‘I have dreamt of playing for Fiorentina for the past four years’

Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan has confessed that he has dreamt of playing for Italian Serie A side ACF Fiorentina for the past four years.

The hardworking middleman moved from Sassuolo to Fiorentina on deadline day of the winter transfer window in a deal that is expected to be made permanent in the summer transfer window.

In his first interaction with the Italian media on Thursday morning, Alfred Duncan described his switch to Florence as a dream move while citing that he has been dreaming of playing for Fiorentina for the past four years.

“I've been dreaming of playing for Fiorentina for the past 4 years. It's already a strong team. It is great to be reunited with Ceccherini and Benassi", the midfielder said.

Duncan added, “Having played in Livorno, and living nearby, Florence feels like home."

The Ghanaian asset is in contention to marking his debut for his new club on Sunday, February 16, 2020.
