Alfred Duncan provides assists in Sassuolo’s 3-4 defeat to Inter Millan

Ghanaian midfield dynamo, Alfred Duncan provided an assist for US Sassuolo on Saturday morning when they lost 3-4 to Inter Milan in the Italian Serie A.

The two clubs locked horns at the Mapei Stadium in a match week 8 fixture after the recent international break.

Duncan who stayed with the club throughout that period was handed a starting role in a bid to help his side neutralize the potency of Antonio Conte’s midfielders.

In a match that produced a 7 goal thriller, the Black Stars asset provided the assist for Sassuolo’s third goal of the match when they were trailing by four goals to two.

His pass found youngster Jeremie Boga whose shot found its way into the back of the net.

It was however not enough to salvage a point for Sassuolo as a brace each from Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku handed Inter all 3 points.

The Ghanaian lasted the entire duration of the match and was in the midst of almost all the good things that happened on the field of play for his side.

The 26-year old now has five assists in the ongoing season as well as a goal to his name.
