Published on: 31 July 2018

Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan is likely to stay at Italian side Sassuolo despite interests from other clubs.

Duncan has so many suitors both in Italy and abroad but according to reports, he is not likely to move ahead of the start of the new season.

Sassuolo are reluctant to release their prized asset following their inability to find an adequate replacement in the ongoing window.

Duncan, who has 2 years left on his contract, was a key cog for Sassuolo last term, making 26 league appearances for the side.

Sassuolo will begin their 2018/2019 league campaign against Duncan’s former side Inter Milan on August 19.
