Alfred Mensah eyes starting role this weekend when KF Skënderbeu takes on Partizani Tirana

Ghanaian international Alfred Mensah is eyeing a starting role for his KF Skënderbeu Korçë side this weekend when they take on Partizani Tirana.

The Albania football season has been on hold since March as a precautionary measure against the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) disease.

Following an improvement in the situation and the implementation of several safety protocols, authorities have paved the way for the campaign to resume this weekend.

Alfred Mensah who joined KF Skënderbeu this year is feeling good and hoping to feature for his club when they play against league leaders Partizani Tirana.

The 20-year-old showed good form prior to the suspension of the season where he netted a goal and provided an assist as well in 6 appearances.

He is hoping to get more opportunities to improve those numbers before the 2019/2020 season ends.
