Algerian top-flight side ASO Chlef have completed the signing of Ghanaian forward Rahim Osumanu in the on-going January transfer window.

The 24-year-old penned a two- and a half year deal with the club after fruitful negotiations and passing his mandatory medicals.

Osumanu has been without a club since leaving Zambian side Mufulira Wanderers following an unsuccessful loan stint.

The forward joined ZESCO United in 2008 after an impressive campaign in the Zambian Super League with Buildcon FC, where he made 27 appearances and scored 12 goals in the process.

He hit the ground running at ZESCO as he featured in nine games in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup in the 2018/19 season and scored two goals for the club.

The 2011 Algerian Ligue 1 champions are currently 13th on the league standings with 17 points after 15 matches played so far this term.
