Alhaji Yakubu Moro insists Kurt Okraku-led GFA is not transparent, lacks credibility

The owner of Berekum Arsenal, Alhaji Yakubu Moro has vented his displeasure on the sharing of the FIFA/CAF Covid-19 Relief Fund as has emphasized that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku and his administration lacks credibility and transparency.

In the midst of the deadly Coronavirus disease crisis which has had a toll on football all over the world. The Ghana FA has received financial support from FIFA as well as CAF.

Speaking to Ark FM after seeing how the GFA is disbursing the funds, Alhaji Yakubu Moro says Kurt Okraku and his administration will destroy football in the West African country if care is not taken.

“This current Kurt Okraku administration is not credible and transparent at all. If care is not taking Ghana football will be destroyed under this administration, delegates vote for you to change and make our football better but everything is destroyed in his tenure as GFA President”, the Berekum Arsenal noted.

Alhaji Yakubu Moro is of the view that football owners in the country are not happy with how things are being run by the GFA president and he will be voted out should there be reelection after CAS’s ruling in the Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer cased against the country’s football governing body.
