Almere City FC Technical manager Teun Jacobs has expressed his delight following the signing of Ghanaian youngster John Yeboah from Willem II Tiburg in the winter transfer window.

The 20-year-old penned a five-month loan deal with an option to extend at the end of the season after passing his mandatory medical.

This season, Yeboah has made 12 league appearances for Willem II in the first half of the season. He was also present in the Europa League duel with Progrès Niederkorn.

"Yeboah is an outside player with speed, depth and creativity. Plus, he's a good guy, with the right attitude," he told the club's official website.

"I know him from the national youth teams of Germany, where I have followed him closely. John has already proven that he is a dangerous player at Eredivisie level."

He added, "If you look at his track record, you also see that he has scored an insane amount of goals and assists in Wolfsburg U19."

"His qualities make him a welcome addition to our selection."
