Almeria tease Man United after sealing deal for Arvin Appiah

Spanish side Almeria troll English Premier League giants Manchester United following the signing of Ghanaian youngster Arvin Appiah.

Appiah penned a five-year deal with Almeria from Nottingham Forest, despite Man United keen on securing his services.

The 18-year-old is one of the most highly-rated youngsters in world football.

Almeria used the unveiling of the winger to tease Man United on social media after the Red Devils missed out on the youngster.

In a post on their official Twitter account, Almeria said: "Sorry Manchester United, Arvin Appiah is red and white."

Almeria signed Appiah for a reported £8 million despite making only eight appearances for Forest during his stay the club.

Appiah, who is of Ghanaian descent - moved to Nottingham at the age of six and has since gone on to represent England at the youth level.
