Medeama Sporting Club goalie Eric Ofori Antwi has revealed, that he is ready to manage the post for the Local Black Stars team when ever invited and assures of maintaining the post.
The former Kotoko SC save pair of hands managed the post when the Local Black Stars team faced Namibia in a friendly last week.Losing 4-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw.
Eric, MTN FA Cup winner in an interview with FootballGhana.com said he feels honoured to berth the post for his nation, since getting a call up to the team isn't easy.
"Always am ready to help my country when invited to camp"I feel happy being chosen to manage the goal post, is not eazy to get that opportunity".
"It's a chance I have being waiting as a Ghanaian and should I have it each time, will do my best".
He added that, though its difficult to maintain the number one spot for the Local team since there are exactly good gloves men around.However, with handwork he will maintain the spot.
"It needs extra hardwork to maintain the post because all the goalkeepers there are very good and competitors as well".
