Amartey and Schlupp see gametime as Man Utd thrash Leicester 4-1

Ghana duo Daniel Amartey and Jeffrey Schlupp saw gametime in Leicester City's 4-1 loss at Manchester United.

Amartey started the game alongisde Daniel Drinkwater in midfield and dominated the opening exchanges.

However, the midfield duo were uanble to cope with United;s combination play after the 20th minute mark which saw Jose Mourinho's men bang-n four unanswered goals.

Chris Smalling's header put United ahead before Juan Mata finished off a slick move with a crisp strike.

Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba - with his first goal for the club - both scored from corners before the half-time break.

Amartey despite his poor first half showing retained his place for the second half as Jaime Vardy and Riyadh Mahrez made way for Andy King and Demarai Gray.

The Ghanaian played a crucial role in Leicester's equaliser laying on an assit for Gray;s stunning strike.

Schlupp made his first English Premier League appearance of the season when he replaced Mark Albrighton in he 62nd minute as Leicester chased the game.
