Asante Kotoko skipper Amos Frimpong has stated his side's readiness for their participation in the CAF Confederation Cup this season.

Kotoko face Kariobangi Sharks in the CAF Confederation Cup in the next stage of the competition next week.

On Wednesday, the Porcupine Warriors played their last but one trial game with Inter Allies at the Accra Stadium where they won 3-0.

Amos Frimpong who opened the scoring from the spot in the first half insists they are ready for their game against the Kenyan side.

Looking at the game we played against Inter Allies and the other games played so far, i think we are ready for the game in Kenya.

We have improved as a team and i think we can do better in terms of working hard to get a good result in the game

He added that " we have our last game against the Meteors on Sunday here at the Accra Stadium and i believe after that game everybody will see we have a good team for the campaign.

"We just need the support and prayers of the fans so we can put Ghana back to the level it should be in African Football."
