The 28-year-old spent eight years with the Porcupine Warriors before joining AS Kaloum in the Guinean top-flight league last year.

He won two Ghana Premier League titles and two FA Cup trophies during his stay at the club.

"It's my dream to re-enter into football after I hang up my boots because it is everything to me," he said in a Q&A session with Whatsapp platform 'Kum Apem Group' on Sunday night.

"Football is a game I really love the most so God willing after retiring I would love to venture into it again, therefore, I will do anything possible to achieve that aim so that if there’s any vacant position anywhere especially in Kotoko and I qualify for it, I will gladly grab it."

"I believe I have unfinished business with the club."

Frimpong has made only one appearance for the senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars.
