Bayern Munich manager Carlo Ancelotti has stated that European club's do not need to be concerned by the financial power of the Chinese Super League and insists that players will stillchoose competition over money.
The Far East continues to attract some of Europe's biggest names, with Chelsea's John Obi Mikel and Oscar the latest two players to make the move out to China.
Two-time Premier League winner Carlos Tevez recently became the world's highest paid player when he joined Shanghai Shenhua just after Christmas and his reported £615k a week pay package, has raised concerns on the continent that club's will be unable to compete with the vast riches on offer in Asia.
But whilst rumours continue to link a number of Europe's top players with big money moves to join to the Chinese footballing revolution, Ancelotti has played down it's threat to European football,insistingthat players want more than just huge salaries and stated that he believes there is no need for concern just yet.

Speaking in his press conference, the Italian said (as quoted byGoal.com):"Yes, there are quite a lot of players who have gone to China this month.
"But I think that clubs in Europe are still safe right now. The best competitions are still in Europe and so is the most competitive football.
"Players are not only playing for money, they play to be at the top, to play the best games in the world."
