Anderlecht resort to giving special training to Amuzu and Doku to improve finishing

Belgian giants, Anderlecht have resorted to giving Ghanaian pair Francis Amuzu and Jeremy Doku special training sessions in a bid to improve their finishing.

The two young attackers have been leading the lines for the club since the start of the Belgium Jupiler League but have failed to bang in the needed goals despite impressing in the final third.

Head coach Vincent Kompany's attention has been drawn to the fact that the youngster lacks the finishing touch in attack and has therefore instructed the two players to be given special training to polish their inputs upfront.

Speaking on the back of the gaffer’s decision, Francis Amuzu welcomed the initiative and indicated that it will be good for him and his compatriot.

"That's good". That is a point of work for both Jeremy and myself. We realize that the goal has to be much better”, he said in an interview with Laatste Nieuws

The former champions are currently winless in their first three matches of the season and will need their attackers to be sharp in their next game if they still want to challenge for the trophy this season.
