Anderlecht teen Jeremy Doku set sights on more wins after victory against Mouscron

Jeremy Frimpong (Left), Derrick Luckassen (Right)Ghana and Anderlecht teenager Jeremy Frimpong has set his sight on helping his club record more wins following their recent cup triumph against Royal Excel Mouscron in the Belgian Domestic Cup.

The 17-year old is gradually becoming a fan favorite at his club after enduring a difficult start to the season where he spent the most time with the reserves and junior team.

In a crucial round of 16 match played at the Stade Le Canonnier, Jeremy Frimpong put up an impressive performance and managed to get on the scoresheet to inspire Anderlecht to a vital 3-2 win against Royal Excel Mouscron.

In a post-match interview, the youngster shared that he is happy the club has managed to put smiles on the faces of the fans.

According to him, he is hoping the team can go all the way to win the Belgian Cup at the end of the campaign.

“I am very happy that we can reassure the fans with this victory. Now we are going to try to win every match and if the Cup comes, we will also win it”, Frimpong said.

He was eventually named as the man of the match and is now in contention for a starting role against Charleroi on Sunday.
