Deputy captain of the Black Stars Andre Ayew is expected to join his teammates on Friday ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Uganda.
The team is currently in Tamale preparing for the game scheduled for Friday October 7, 2016 at 15:30 GMT.
The injured Ayew was at the Lizzy’s Sports Complex in Accra on Wednesday morning and the Accra mall on Thursday afternoon to interact with fans and journalists.
The visit of the West Ham star was facilitated by BETWAY, the title sponsors of the Premier League club, as part of efforts to strengthen their brand presence across Africa.
Ayew, who has been out injured since August, is however expected to travel to Tamale on Friday to support the Black Stars against Uganda
