Andre Ayew to captain Ghana for crucial Egypt clash

Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew will wear the captain's armband during Ghana's crucial 2018 World Cup qualifier against Egypt in Alexandria next month.

Andre who is making a return to the team after a long injury lay off will take the position of captain Asamoah Gyan who was excluded from the squad due to injury.

The West Ham star will be hoping to inspire the team in getting a good result which will keep their hopes of making a 4th World Cup alive.

Andre Ayew is noted for leading the team to winning matches any time he wears the captain's armband.
