Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew, expressed his delight after Swansea City clinched a 1-0 victory over Coventry City in the English Championship.
Before the game on Wednesday, Swansea had suffered a humiliating 4-1 loss to Huddersfield and needed to get back to winning ways. Benjamin Cabango's strike for Swansea was enough for the 1-0 victory.
Speaking to the media after the game, Ayew stated that the team needs to keep pushing for promotion into the Premier League.
“We’re delighted with the three points, onto the next one. Its time to remain focussed and keep pushing towards the ultimate goal which is promotion,” he stated.
Swansea are currently fourth in the Championship.
