Ghana captain Andre Ayew has scored 15 goals this season for Swansea City to equal the number of goals he scored for the side in the regular campaign of the English Championship last season.
The Black Stars captain was the poster boy of the Swans during the 2019/2020 campaign where they almost secured promotion to the English Premier League.
Finishing the season as the team’s top scorer and best player as well, Andre Ayew has continued from where he left off this season and has excelled for the Welsh club in the 2020/2021 campaign.
Last Saturday, the former Olympic Marseille man scored and provided an assist for a goal when Swansea City thumped Millwall 3-0 in the English Championship at the Den.
While that goal takes Ayew’s tally to 15 this season, he has in the process equalized his record of goals in the regular season of the last campaign for the Swans.
He will hope to score more in the last six games of the season to push his team to seal automatic qualification to the English Premier League at the end of the 2020/2021 football season.
