Ghana international, Andre Ayew has extended his appreciation to the fans of Swansea City for the massive support throughout the 2019/2020 football season.
In a season where many thought the forward will secure a move to a top-flight club, Andre Ayew stayed put and ended up emerging as a standout player for the Swans.
At the end of the season which saw the team play in the English Championship playoffs, the Black Stars captain has paid tribute to the supporters of Swansea City.
“This season was a long and good one for us..lots of up and downs but we made it to the playoff when nobody believed in us..we wanted promotion but that is football we learn from our defeats to win next time..we gave everything for u Jack Army to make u proud”, Ayew posted on his Instagram page.
The forward added, “We all wanted more....as long as i wear ur jersey i will never give up! The jack Army gave me so much love and confidence that anytime i step foot on the pitch i felt untouchable. We live to fight another day ??thank you ...time to rest and prepare for preseason
Andrew Ayew finished the season with 47 games in all competitions for Swansea City where he scored 18 goals and provided 7 assists.
