Andre Ayew to be fit for Ghana's World Cup qualifier against Egypt

Ghanaian international Andre Ayew is set to make a quick return from his setback and avail himself for Ghana’s world cup qualifier against the Pharaohs of Egypt in November.

The deputy Ghana captain, who suffered a muscle injury on his West Ham debut against Chelsea in the English Premier League, has progressed with his rehabilitation exercise and is on course to make a quick return.

Ayew is anticipating a quick return in other to feature for Club and country.

“I am still receiving treatment, I am getting a little bit better now,” he said. “I hope to return very soon and start playing for my Club and country. “I hope to return even before the time they have given me.”

The player missed Ghana’s final Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda and is certainly going to miss the world cup qualifier against Uganda.

The Black stars who are billed to host the Cranes of Uganda on October 7, are scheduled to travel to Egypt for their second group E world cup qualifier on November 7.
