Ghanaian midfielder Andre Dede Ayew was frustrated his side did not take their chances to win during Swansea City's 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest in the Championship on Wednesday night.

The 30-year-old lasted the entire duration of the game as the Swans picked up only one point in the Championship playoff fight at the City Ground, Nottingham.

"Frustrating to not get 3 points today..but we keep going it’s not over until the last game.. ⚽️good to get on the scoresheet..big game Saturday let’s get ready," he posted on twitter.

Rhian Brewster's high-class finish gave Swansea an early lead in the 8th minute of the game, only for Ameobi to curl home his first leveller in the 20th minute.

Andre Ayew's penalty made it 2-1 at the break before Ameobi's long-ranger earned Forest a point, with Swansea defender Kyle Naughton seeing red late on.

Swansea, who are three points behind sixth-placed Cardiff City, must look to win their last two fixtures - against Bristol City and Reading - and hope the Bluebirds and Millwall slip up.

Ayew has made 42 appearances in the league this season, scored 15 goals and provided six assists for Swansea City.
