Andre Ayew is happy with the performance of his team on Sunday in their Championship victory over Nottingham Forest.

The lone goal from Connor Roberts sealed a 1-0 away win at the City Ground, but it was the Black Stars captain who stepped off the pitch with the official Man-of-the-Match trophy.

He took to his official Twitter account to react to the MOTM and performance of Swansea City.

"3 points away from home. Love it! Great shift guys. We keep going.. MOTM," he tweeted.

The tweet was accompanied by pictures from the game and the Man-of-the-Match trophy.

Andre Ayew has played thirteen games in the Championship this season scoring six goals and one assist.

During a pre-game interview, Swansea coach Gary Cooper said the attacker is an outstanding player and he is worth his wages.

"I’ve always felt that [he's worth his wages],"

“I’ve said it many times, he’s an outstanding player and professional and a good person, too," he added.

"He’s motivated to do well, but he had a setback getting injured on international duty,"

"The Championship is full of really good players and Andre is up there with the best of them. He has been fantastic for us,” he concluded.
