Ghana deputy captain Andre Ayew will not be available for selection in their final Afcon qualifier against Rwanda in Accra next month.

The 26-year old has been ruled out for 4 months and will require a surgery after sustaining a thigh injury on his West Ham debut on Monday.

What this means is that he will not be part of Black Stars coach Avram Grant plans for the game against Rwanda and the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Congo.

The Winger joined West Ham this summer for a club record transfer.
