Ghana deputy skipper Andre Ayew's return to Swansea City is looking impossible as the Swans prefer to get Diafra Sakho from West Ham.

According to the Guardian, Ayew's wages is making Swansea have a rethink of taking him back.

The player has not had more playing team since David Moyes took charge of the Hammers and remains a bit-part player in East London side.

The Guardian further reports that West Ham are prepared to let Ayew leave, but a return to Swansea may be impossible unless the forward will reduce his wage demands in order to re-join the club and reunite with brother Jordan Ayew.

It’s noted that, whilst Swansea may be put off a deal for Ayew, they also hold an interest in his West Ham teammate Diafra Sakho, who is expected to move on this month.
