Frank Nelson Nwokolo, a board member of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club, has called for Annor Walker to stay on as Black Galaxies head coach despite the team's elimination from the 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Nelson spoke in the aftermath of Ghana's 2-0 loss to Niger in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
He acknowledged that while the team struggled during the competition and there needs to be a major overhaulin the coaching staff.
“Seriously speaking, I think they struggled a lot, Black Galaxies struggled but you can’t take it away from them that they did their best so we need to look at it and see where are the negatives and see where we are going to correct.
"It’s a learning curve, I think if he (Coach Annor Walker) has to continue on that job, …then there must be a very big dress up; we have to dress up on that situation,” he said.
