Ghana Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko are not done signing players for the upcoming 2023/24 football season.
The club in an official statement on Thursday, August 31, announced that attacking midfielder Baba Yahaya has been signed.
The player has been signed on a three-year deal as coach Prosper Narteh Ogum continues to build a squad for the present and future to win trophies for the Porcupine Warriors.
“We’re excited to confirm the signing of attacking midfielder, Baba Yahaya on a three-year deal. Baba is a WARRIOR,” a club statement from the Reds said.
Baba Yahaya and many other players signed by Asante Kotoko in the off-season are expected to play various roles for Asante Kotoko when the 2023/24 football season commences.
The Reds failed to win a trophy last season and are now determined to challenge for laurels next season.
