Anxiety rocks Black Stars players as Appiah eyes massive Ghana squad shake-up

Footballghana.com understands new Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah will undertake a massive shake-up exercise.

Appiah was reappointed as Ghana coach on Tuesday after an Executive Committee meeting at the Ghana Football Association.

The 56-year old who was previously Ghana boss from April 2012 to September 2014 will make changes to the team as he seeks to qualify Ghana to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2018 World Cup.

Appiah is noted for giving young players opportunities as it was his time Ghana discovered the likes of Christian Atsu, Mubarak Wakaso, Baba Rahman.

He will officially begin work on May 1.
