Arsenal and Chelsea Send Scouts to Watch Wolves' Portugese Sensation

Arsenal and Chelsea have both sent scouts to watch Wolverhampton Wanderers' 23-year-old sensation Helder Costa, reportsthe Mirror.

Scouts from both clubs were present as Wolves beat Rotherham United 1-0 in the Championship on Saturday.The Portugese ace was unable to add to his 10-goal tally for the season though. Costa had a first-half penalty saved and was substitutedafter 66 minutes.

Wolves singed Costa for £13m in January, after a successful loan period from Portugese giants Benfica, where he made 72 appearances for the B team.


Costa's agent, Jorge Mendes, whose clients include Cristiano Ronaldo, James Rodriguez, David de Gea, Jose Mourinho and Renato Sanches, is already believed to be looking for a £20m suitor to buy Costa in the summer.

Costa showcased his talents in Wolves' 2-1 victory against Liverpool in the FA Cup, alerting Premier League clubs to his availability. He has so far played in 29 first team games for Wolves, scoring 10 goals in the process.

Costa represented Portugal under-19s at the 2013 UEFA Under-19 European Championships and was named in the team of the tournament, despite Portugal being knocked out in the semi-finals.
