Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has suggested that no player will receive 'special treatment' from being subbed after Alexis Sanchez's recent strops after being removed from the field.

The Chilean international is known for hating being substituted from a game, and in recent weeks has shown his dissatisfaction towards his boss on the touchline after leaving the field, but Wenger has insisted that he decides when it is right to bring a player off, and not the other way around.

'When I take him off, I take him off' - No special treatment for Sanchez, says Wenger https://t.co/VpGX4WNrtE

After public displays of annoyance against Swansea City in the leagueand Ludogorets in the Champions League at the Emirates Stadium, Wenger has suggested he is wary of fatigue, and according to theMirror, he considers every player's fitness separately.

"For me he is not a special case. He is a player like everybody else. When I decide to take him off, I take him off," said the 67-year-old.

"There is no special case. He has his own character but he is not treated differently from everybody else.

"They all recognise it after the game but during the game they want to stay on the pitch. You want to play even when you are tired.

"I played him the other day against Swansea so I thought I would take him off when it is possible. We consider every case individually.

Despite this, on the field the former Barcelona striker has been in fine form, scoring eight goals and having five assists to his name in 12 appearances in all competitions so far, including a brace against Sunderland on Saturday.
