Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has dismissed taunts from Tony Adams in the club legend's new book.
The former Gunners defender accused Wenger of 'not being able to coach his way out of a paper bag' in one astonishing outburst against his old boss.
But Wenger this morning gave his old captain short shrift when he was asked about the claims at his press conference ahead of the final Premier League game of the season against Everton.
Wenger said: “I do not give too much importance to what Tony Adams says, honestly."
The cutting response gives an indication that the once tight bond between manager and player is now strained beyond repair.
