Arsenal Broke Premier League Record With Great Team Goal Against Sunderland

Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez topped off a great weekend for the Gunners with a brace to secure a 4-1 victory away to Sunderland on Saturday, sending them joint top of the Premier League.


The little Chileanhas now been involved in eight goals in his last eight games for his side, with five goals himself and another three assists. However, the game at the Stadium of Light also saw the former Barcelona man, alongside his teammates,break a Premier League record for his first goal of the game to make it 1-0.

In the build up to the fantastic diving header from Sanchez, Arsenal produced 22 successful passes as they developed up the pitch before Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain whipped in the inch perfect cross - the best pass-to-goal ratio so far this season.

Romelu Lukaku was involved in a 21-pass-goal earlier this season with Everton at the Stadium of Light once more against the Black Cats, while Philippe Coutinho's against Arsenal for Liverpoolon the opening day with 19 passes and Manchester United's Juan Mata with 18 passes against Leicester City are not far behind.


Olivier Giroud would come off of the bench to score two goals from his first two touches against David Moyes' side, before Sanchez added another to see off a comfortable away victory for the north London outfit.
