Arsenal and Chelsea haven't dropped their interest in Manchester United fullback Luke Shaw.
The Mirror says United boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed Shaw is in line for a new deal, which represents a big turnaround for the England left-back's United career.
But negotiations are yet to start on that new deal however, despite the 22-year-old's contract being up at the end of next season.
Shaw is keen to secure his long-term future at United, but it looks like he may have to wait for a new deal that could see his £80,000-a-week wages brought into line with United's other senior stars on around £120k to £150k.
This delay has alerted both the Gunners and champion Blues, who are both likely to be in the market for a left-back come the summer.
