Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah is yet to decide on his international future despite confirming discussions with the Ghana FA.
The domestic football governing body have been in talks with several players born in Europe with Nketiah no exception.
Earlier report in the local media suggested the Arsenal forward will be cleared in thwe coming days by FIFA.
But the 23-year-old says nothing has been decided despite talks with the Ghana FA.
“There have been discussions, but nothing has been decided.” He told the Telegraph newspaper.
Eddie Nketiah is the all-time topscorer for the England U-21 team with 16 goals.
Despite his exploits with the junior national team, the enterprising forward has consistently been overlooked by the Three Lions.
Nketiah signed a new long-term contract with the English Premier League side Arsenal in what is a massive boost for his career.
The 23-year-old, who was due to be out of contract at the end of the month, sealed the deal on Saturday with just about two weeks before his existing contract was scheduled to expire.
He penned a five-year deal, keeping him at the club until 2027.
Nketiah was in a blistering form towards the end of the 2021/22 season, starting Arsenal’s last eight league games and scoring five goals in the process.
