Arsenal Legend Delivers Honest Assessment of Club's Title Chances After United Draw

Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry has delivered an honest assessment of the Gunners' title chances after the 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Saturday.


Arsenal looked set for a defeat, after Juan Mata put United ahead with a left-foot finish, before anOliver Giroud header brought Arsene Wenger's side level late on.


Speaking to Sky Sports -as quoted byThe Sport Review-after the game, Henry claimed the performance was not of the calibre he was hoping to see from a Premier League side hopeful of winning the league.

If they want to win the league they will have wanted to win here," Henry revealed.Again, they lost a chance to be on top this weekend.

Arsenal have now drawn their last two games, having picked up a point in the north London derby against Tottenham Hotspurbefore the international break.


The result leaves Arsenal two points behind leaders Liverpool, who dropped points in a 0-0 draw at Southampton, while Manchester City beat Crystal Palace to go level on points with Jurgen Klopp's side at the top of the Premier League.

Spurs beat West Ham on Saturday evening and are now a point behind Arsenal, while Chelsea have the chance to reach the summit of the league when they play Middlesbrough on Sunday.


Arsenal face PSG in the Champions League on Wednesday before they take on Bournemouth next Sunday in their next Premier League match.
