Arsenal may be second in the league, second only to Manchester City on goal difference, but that hasn't stopped former Gunner Emmanuel Petit from bemoaning the sides lack of goals upfront.
The former French international, who played alongside the likes ofThierry Henry, admits that the side need a goalscorer like Sergio Agueroto be considered contenders for the Premier League title.
Speaking toSFR Sport, he said: "Even though I love Arsenal and Arsene, I try to stay objective. They never quite satisfy me, and they often frustrate me.
"As long as Arsenal don't have a striker who scores 40 goals a season like Aguero does at Manchester City. That's what you need in any league: a striker who is one of the best in the world."

Despite the complaints of the former star, the Gunners have gone on an impressive undefeated streak, winning the last six games in a row, including the 3-0 win over rivals Chelsea.
The London side are also the Premier Leagues highest scorers with 19 goals so far this season, despite playing without a recognised striker for most of their matches.

Boss Arsene Wenger has turned to winger Alexis Sanchez for goals, opting to play him alongside Theo Walcott, ahead of recognised striker Olivier Giroud.
The pair have bagged nine goals between them so far this season, helping the team recover from their bad start against Liverpool.
Two ofWalcott's goals came in the side's slim win against Swansea on Saturday in a 3-2 win at the Emirates.
