Arsenal are lining up a move for teenage sensation Peter Gwargis who has been dubbed the 'new Mesut Ozil'.

According to theMetro, the talented youngster's agent has suggested that Europe's top clubs are monitoring the player.

Gwargis currently plays for Swedish outfit Husqvarna FF and the 16-year-old has trained with both the under-17s and the under-19s but is yet to feature for the first team.

However, the boy who is said to play like Arsenal superstar and fan favourite Ozil, is said to have impressed so much in training that he's attracting attention from all over Europe.

Gwargis' representative, Walid Faour claimed, "Both Arsenal and PSV have sent invitations, but now Feyenoord are the most interested.

"I'm in Holland right now for a visit to Feyenoord with Peter Gwargis.

"Peter has trained with both Under-17 and Under-19s. This is a left-footed offensive football player who many here believe will be a new Ozil."

This comes only days after Arsenal's play-maker Ozil has been linked with a move to rivals Manchester United, with manager Jose Mourinho said to be keen on the Germany international.

The World Cup winner has still not signed a new long-term contract at the club, raising fears that he could be tempted away if he isn't given the assurances and terms that has been demanded.

Ozil is said to earn £140k-a-week playing for Arsene Wenger and Man Utd are reportedly ready to offer him £250k-a-week, significantly more than the £200k-a-week that is said to be on offer from his club.

So, with that in mind,Arsene Wenger could eventually be looking to replace Ozil with the 'new Ozil' in Peter Gwargis.
